Grand Prix du Vin Suisse 2023: 859 award-winning wines and 91 nominations

Organized jointly by VINUM, the wine culture magazine, and the VINEA association, the "Grand Prix du vin suisse 2023" received 2,740 entries, of which 388 were awarded gold medals and 471 silver medals. The nominated finalists, including the 6 best wines in each of the 15 competition categories, reflect the diversity and areas of expertise of the country's six wine-growing regions. Patronage of the competition is provided by the Union Suisse des OEnologues (USOE). The category winners will be announced live on October 6 at the "Swiss Wine Gala" in Berne!

The Grand Prix du Vin Suisse (GPVS) aims to promote the quality of Swiss wines and support the efforts of the Swiss wine industry to meet the demands of the national and international wine market.

The excellent 2022 vintage, in terms of both quality and quantity, has had a very positive impact on the 17th edition of the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse (GPVS). No fewer than 78 wineries and their 91 nominated wines will be competing for one of the 45 Grand Prix du Vin Suisse trophies.
on October 6, 2023 in Berne. The "Swiss Winery of the Year 2023" will also be unveiled at the event.
